Q: What is the difference between counselling, psychology and coaching?

Counselling is the opportunity to sit and talk with qualified professional about issues or challenges in life for example grief and loss, stress, relationships, substance use or anxiety.

Psychology uses a more clinical approach using structured methods in diagnosis and treatments of mental health. Please note that some Psychologists are counsellors too! And some counsellors have psychology training! (like me!)

Coaching involves looking at various aspects of your life that you wish to transform, working with you to bring awareness to what you really want, what's holding you back and help you find purpose and direction.
